RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Returns & Refunds
We aim to provide you with the best online shopping experience, and it's really important that you love your purchase from Dragonfly. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please contact us online as soon as possible, indicating the reason for the return. You will then be issued with an authorisation number, that must be included with the returned item. This is simply to allow us to keep track of your details so we can best service your needs.
The item must be returned Dragonfly within 14 days of the shipping date. It must be unwashed, unworn and in original condition (this includes all original tags and packaging, and protective shields on swimsuit bottoms). This does not mean you cannot try it on for size! Upon inspecting the returned item, we will the gladly credit your original method of payment, or provide you with a store credit. If the returned item was on sale, refund is provided in the form of a store credit only, to use toward future purchases. Alternatively, you can make an exchange for an item of the same value. See below for more details on sale items.
Return items that have been worn, damaged or altered from their original state will not be exchanged or refunded, and will be returned to the customer.
We regret that we are unable to refund original shipping and handling costs, unless the item was faulty or not as ordered.
With the exception of items purchased as Christmas gifts, any items returned after 14 days (unless faulty) will be subject to an exchange or credit note only.
Sale Items
Sorry, we offer exchange or store credit only on sale items unless the item is deemed faulty, or was part of a store-wide percentage off promotion and no other discount had been applied. So, for example if the item was full price and you applied a promotion code to receive 15% off we offer return or exchange, but if the price had already been reduced prior to applying a promotion code we offer exchange or store credit only.
Store credits are issued in the form of online gift certificates that can be used toward future purchases.
Items purchased as Christmas gifts may be returned for refund or exchange within 14 days of Christmas day, subject to the above conditions.
Exchanges
Dragonfly can't always guarantee availability of products as our stock is seasonal and therefore, limited. If you would like to exchange for a different size, please follow the instructions noted above for returns.
Outward shipping will not be charged on your first size exchange, but you must return the goods to us. We would recommend using a traceable method such as registered or express post. It is your responsibility to ensure goods arrive safely to the return address.
When exchanging for a "change of mind" (different colour or style), a $5 re-delivery charge will be applied. If you have indicated to exchange for an item that is sold out or that is delayed, we will notify you of the situation via email. It would be helpful if you can also indicate an alternate style, in case we cannot fill your first choice.
We will reimburse your credit card on receipt of the returned item, and then bill you for your new items when they are ready to ship. If your exchange is above the price of the original order, we will need to contact you for your credit card details. For overseas exchanges, delivery cost will be at original shipping charges.
Refunds and exchanges are processed within 1-3 days of receiving the goods at the Dragonfly office.
Please remember to include with the return a copy of the original invoice or the original order details such as the order number, name, postal address and phone number AND your authorisation number.

ORDERING & PAYMENT

After you place your order, an e-mail confirmation including an order number, will be sent to the e-mail address that was entered on your order form. Once your payment has been approved, your order will be packed and dispatched and you will be notified by email.
PAYMENT METHODS
You will be prompted during the check-out process to select your preferred payment method.
Australian customers can pay by credit card, direct deposit, Australian cheque or money order at the Dragonfly online store, using our secure checkout. International customers can only pay by credit card.
Credit Card
If paying by credit card, we accept Visa and Mastercard.
When ordering with Dragonfly, we want you to feel confident that your personal information and credit card data is completely safe. Dragonfly provides you with a secure session within our shopping checkout. You will notice a padlock icon on the base of your browser when you enter into our 'checkout'. This shows that all information entered during your session is secure.
When you click the 'Process Payment' button, we send the credit transaction directly to the bank. We do not transfer those details to others for their commercial use. Unlike giving credit card details over the phone, our online system automatically encrypts all your details using the latest SSL V3 encryption standard.
We do not store your credit card details, they are encrypted within your transaction.
Direct Deposit
When paying by direct deposit you will be given full payment instructions, including our banking details, upon checkout. You can then make payment using Internet banking (you need to be registered for Internet banking with your financial institution), or over the counter at any Westpac branch. Your order will be dispatched once your payment has been confirmed. You are given 3 business days to pay, if payment is not received in this timeframe, purchased items will be returned to stock unless you contact us to make other arrangements.
Please note, it can take one complete business day for funds deposited via online banking to appear in our account. Our standard shipping times apply from that point.
Cheque and Money Order (Australian only)
If paying by cheque or money order, you will be given full payment instructions upon completing your order. Your order will not be dispatched until your payment has been cleared - this typically takes 5 business days for cheques and 1 business day for money orders. We allow 4 business days from checkout for your cheque or money order to get to us. If payment is not received in this timeframe, purchased items will be returned to stock unless you contact us to make other arrangements.
Money orders and cheques need to be made out to Dragonfly.
PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy! Any and all the information collected on this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, disclosed, or loaned.
Any information you provide will be held with the utmost care and will not be used in way that you have not consented to. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email us.
Information We Collect
When you join our mailing list, we collect information such as your name and e-mail address. To process and fulfil your orders online, you will also be asked to provide us with your delivery address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. For added security we do not store your credit card details on the Dragonfly website, you must enter them each time you make a purchase. We do not share credit card information with third parties, except with our bank for the purpose of processing payments and refunds for products you've ordered or as required by law.
Dragonfly also collects e-mail addresses at various locations within the site (including when you order from the site or register as a user) so that we can send you any necessary e-mail messages related to your order - such as an order confirmation notice. In addition, we maintain a record of your product interests, and anything else that might enable us to personalize your shopping experience. We also examine site use and traffic to improve our web site design and the products and services we offer. Dragonfly appreciates that it must store and use client information responsibly.
You may at any time delete your profile from our records or unsubscribe from our mailing list.
DELIVERY
AUSTRALIA
We deliver Australia wide for a flat fee of $7.50. Generally your order will take 1-3 business days for handling and shipping between capital cities once payment has been received.
We deliver by Express Post (Australia Post) and all items are fully traceable.
Most items that can be purchased on Dragonfly are held in stock, ready to ship once payment has been made. From time to time, some items may not be available and may need to be re-ordered. If this occurs, we will contact you immediately to discuss.
Dragonfly dispatches all orders received before 2pm on the same business day.
INTERNATIONAL
We love connecting with people outside Australia, and send international orders via registered airmail. Airmail typically takes between 5-10 working days to most global commercial centres, depending on location. If no-one is home to receive your delivery, local postal guidelines apply.
All prices on the Dragonfly website are in Australian dollars.

CAN I ORDER BY PHONE?

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
If ordered within Australia, you will usually receive your Dragonfly purchase within 1-3 business days if you reside in a capital city. We make every effort to process and pack orders on the same business day or within 24 hours of receipt of payment, however please allow up to 5 days for delivery as sometimes outside reasons may cause delays. Standard delivery orders are shipped via Australia Post in Express Post satchels. Please view our delivery section for more information.
HOW TRUE ARE THE GARMENT COLOURS ON THE SITE?
We try and reproduce garment colours as true and as accurately as possible. However, slight variations can occur in colour and size specifications. Also important to note is that certain colours may appear different via this web site due to your personal computer resolution and monitor settings.
DO YOU PRODUCE A HARD COPY CATALOGUE?
Sorry, at the moment we do not produce a printed catalogue. The web allows us to keep you updated with new and exciting products. You can either check our web site regularly, or join our mailing list to be one of the first to hear about new stock arrivals.
WHY SHOULD I JOIN YOUR MAILING LIST?
If you join the Dragonfly list we will email you when we have sales, debut new designer lines and when we add new items that you have to know about! New stock will be added monthly, so to avoid disappointment, we will email alert you for the best chance of snapping up any new arrivals. Dragonfly only gathers customer information to improve our client's shopping experience and to update them about our new products, services and promotions. Under no circumstances will we rent or sell your e-mail or residential address for any reason. See our privacy statement for more detail.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN ITEM IS NOT IN STOCK?
Sometimes Dragonfly will display items that have not yet arrived into stock. We will notify you via email when the product is available to purchase. If an item displays SOLD OUT this generally means that we will not be getting any more of that item, unless the manufacturer does a re-run of a popular style.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF I DON'T SEE MY SIZE?
If you don't see your size in the size drop-down for a particular product it generally means that we have sold out in that size or did not stock it. Occasionally we get top-ups for particularly popular styles.

Dragonfly is also a retail shopfront. We are based in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, Australia, but cater to customers all over the world.
